Life is about exploring, growing, and discovering what excites you. Our co-curricular activities provide pupils with the freedom to try new things and deepen their existing passions.
 

By the time children leave Lochinver House at the end of Year 6 or Year 8, they are equipped with a rich tapestry of experiences that shape their character and learning journey. Whether through clubs, educational visits, workshops, or residential trips, we ensure that every child can flourish in an environment that fosters creativity, teamwork, and curiosity.  Importantly, we place a strong emphasis on mental health and wellbeing, providing opportunities for outdoor learning and connecting with nature.

Sport

Sport is a cornerstone of our co-curricular programme.

Through our PE and Games Department, pupils engage in a wide range of team sports, developing not only their physical abilities but also valuable life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Competitive fixtures allow children to represent the school at all levels, and while we emphasise participation and enjoyment, some of our teams even reach national standards.  We’re proud to have children who go on to achieve sports scholarships at their next schools.
