A New Chapter in Lochinver House’s Story
We are excited to share the next stage of our school’s journey as Lochinver House becomes co-educational from September 2025.
Initially welcoming girls from Nursery to Year 2, we will grow year on year to become a fully co-educational independent school in Potters Bar by 2031. This development reflects our commitment to inclusivity, community, and providing an exceptional education for every child, regardless of gender.
This change will allow families to educate all their children in one supportive setting, enriching our school culture and strengthening the diverse family community that is so special and central to who we are. As we evolve, we will remain true to the values that have defined Lochinver House for generations.
Our vision remains clear: to offer a forward-thinking, values-led education where children are known, challenged, and celebrated. In our coeducational future, both boys and girls will be nurtured for their individuality, empowered by diversity, and prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.
We are incredibly proud of this new chapter and all it represents; an opportunity to offer more pupils the chance to grow with us, and to shape a future where every child can truly start small and think big.
