The Arts at Lochinver House are integral to the development of self-expression and creativity. We place great emphasis on fostering a love for music, drama, and the visual arts, where children can build confidence, develop their imagination, and find their voice.
Drama
Drama at Lochinver House is about more than just performance, it is about empowering pupils to develop confidence and emotional intelligence. From Christmas plays to the Year 8 final performance, drama fosters self-expression and creativity.

Art and Design Technology
In our dedicated Art, DT and Food Tech rooms, children express their creativity through hands-on activities. Pupils learn to develop their artistic abilities while gaining an appreciation for the work of others. Our Art Department inspires creativity, while our DT curriculum challenges pupils to solve problems through design and innovation. In Food Tech, the children are taught practical cooking skills and develop an understanding of nutrition and the working characteristics of food materials.
