Coast to Castle
Over half term Mrs Barry completed a Charity Bike Ride to support the Year 8 Charities on the Coast to Castle Cycle route. This historic 300km route started in Tynemouth and followed the eastern coastline through Northumberland, past Warkworth Castle, Bamburgh Castle, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, and up to the fortified Scottish border town of Berwick upon Tweed. She then cycled up along the rugged coastline of Berwickshire and East Lothian to finish under the extinct volcano of ‘Arthurs Seat’ in Edinburgh, cycling an average of 75 km per day.
